Thursday’s forecast:
We’ve got another fantastic fall-feeling day. Temperatures start in the mid-50s with highs climbing to the upper-70s and lower-80s. There will be clouds that start moving in late in the day, but the rain associated with the system below will miss us to the southwest.

Our next cold front moves through Friday. There isn’t enough moisture in the atmosphere for rain to fall, but it will bring lower temperatures this weekend to Houston.

After a gorgeous Saturday, an area of low pressure brings rain to parts of South Texas and the Hill Country. If you live west of I-45, you have a good chance to get rain during the day. I’m going with a 30% chance of rain in the Houston area on Sunday.

The remainder of this hurricane season will limp to the finish line, and this disturbance is a good example. The area in the orange color has a 50% chance of becoming our next named storm. It is moving east and will not affect the United States. The next name on the list is Kyle.

This fall feel will stay through the next 10 days. Our average high for this time of year is 76°, and we’re pretty close to this through Saturday, November 12th. And I don’t have a morning temperature above 62°.
